The CONTROL screen shown below, contains a table of 18 main input variables and
29 input constants. For each input variable there are 3 figures representing
the practical minimum, the best estimate and the practical maximum. Factors
'Min q' and 'Max q' are used, by which the best estimate B is to be multiplied,
to obtain the practical extremes. B is the mark around which the values of a
given variable occur most frequently. The output decision variables are also
shown graphically.

The AXLE LOADS page provides several default axle load distributions and gives
the user an opportunity to enter his or her own distribution of axle loads.

After successful simulation, the rehabilitation schedule and present worth of
costs are displayed on the FACTS screen together with all the output variables
in tabular form.

After successful simulation, results are displayed graphically on the GRAPHS
page. The percentage of surface area with shattered concrete, pumping and
faulting and in the case of continuous reinforcement, the crack spacing are
shown in the respective graphs. The life costs distribution is also shown.

BUILD-UPS contains five graphs of which four are displayed. Each graph contains 100 random curves. All graphs have time on the horizontal axis. On the vertical axes are:
- percentage of shattered concrete,
- percentage of pumping,
- percentage of faulting and
- total E80 imposed on the pavement so far
The WHAT-IF screen allows the user to plot any one of 48 input variables
against any one of the 16 output items to see the effect of changing input
variables. The life cost is always plotted irrespective of the input and output
variables chosen.
