Eligibility criteria for Membership of C&CI

Producer Members

In order to qualify to become a Producer Member of C&CI, a manufacturer and supplier of cementitious binders and / or cement extenders shall:-

  • Produce and distribute cementitious materials for their own benefit and who will benefit from the Institute's activities and who contribute to the operating costs of the Institute.
  • Demonstrate that the company’s market share determined as a percentage of total annual revenue (on a delivered price basis net of discounts) of all C&CI Producer Members exceeds 2%, this to be determined on a confidential basis by the C&CI Auditors, Deloitte & Touche.
  • Subscribe to the quality principles supported by C&CI.
Associate Members

In order to qualify to become an Associate Member of C&CI, an organisation shall:-
  • Be involved in the manufacture or construction of concrete products or infrastructure, OR
  • Be a supplier of services or goods (other than cementitious materials or cement extenders) to the concrete product or concrete construction industry.
  • Subscribe to the quality principles supported by C&CI.
Built Environment Professional Members

This category of membership is by invitation only. In order to qualify to become a Built Environment Professional member of C&CI, the applicant shall:
  • Have a relevant tertiary qualification
  • Have a minimum of 10 years experience in one or more of the following activities within the concrete industry:-
    • Design of structures or products
    • Manufacture or construction
    • Quality management and supervision
