Statistics

Due to fact the submission of statistics is incomplete, C&CI is not in a position to provide statistics and you will be notified as soon as they become available.

Year-to-date cementitious demand data for the South African and neighbouring countries markets are recorded here.

The term ‘cementitious’ refers to portland cement on its own, and cement blended with an extender e.g. ground granulated blastfurnace slag (GGBS), silica fume (SF) and fly ash (FA). Data reported also includes sales of cement extenders sold directly to users (e.g. contractors).

The information included in the file linked below, is a consolidation of sales data provided by the South African cement and extender manufacturers - AfriSam, Lafarge, NPC-Cimpor, PPC, Slagment, Ash Resources and Ulula Ash. This data is collected and consolidated by Chartered Accountants, Nexia Levitt Kirson (NLK) on a strictly confidential basis and submitted to C&CI for distribution.
