HOW TO USE THE SAQA DATABASE
The SAQA database may be scrutinised by accessing the website:
www.SAQA.org.za
and standards or qualifications found via a search. Enter all the knowns like:

NQF level
Learning sub-field like "civil engineering construction"

Then hit "GO".

If the qualification or standard identification number is known, this can be typed in and the item will be rapidly retrieved.

To obtain a printed copy of the document from the SAQA website, select (highlight) the whole document and use the option "print selection" from the computer menu.

To obtain an electronic copy of the document:

open your own new Word document and minimise it
go to the SAQA website and open the unit standard or qualification you wish to copy
select or highlight the whole document
press edit and right click "copy"
maximise your new blank Word document and "paste" the copy
