The Structural Engineering department of the Institute provides design advice and information  on the benefits of using concrete in commercial, retail and industrial sectors.

C&CI holds, and is continually accumulating technical information realting to design, use and construction of  concrete structures.
 
Gary Theodosiou, Structural Engineer with the Institute, will be working to identify the needs of both designers and owners of relevant structures and to provide the required design and specification aids to consulting engineers. He is available for presentations to consulting engineers, specifying bodies and owners as well as to discuss the needs of practising engineers.

Following the popularity of the Reinforced Concrete Analysis and Design course, C&CI's School of Concrete Technology intends to offer more courses of relevance to structural engineers.

The Institute is also planning a programme of workshops and seminars to increase awareness of structural concrete.
