New MD for C&CI



Bryan Perrie has been appointed Managing Director of the Cement & Concrete Institute with effect from 1 May 2008, in succession to Dr Graham Grieve who will be taking early retirement at the end of August.

Bryan, who joined the Institute in 1984, holds a MSc Eng from Wits.

He is regarded as one of South Africa's top authorities on concrete pavements both locally and internationally.

Green Building Conference and Exhibition 2008 will be hosted by the Gauteng Institute for Architecture and the Wits School of Architecture as well as carrying the endorsement of the Commonwealth Association of Architects.Other partnerships include the Council for the Built Environment and the Enerkey Programme (JET Cities and the University of Johannesburg).

The Green Building Conference is validated for CPD for Architects, Engineers and Quantity Surveyors.
